Bear Dancing Woman told me about the Gailsville School and how they want to get an outdoor program started for some of their disadvantaged kids.
She said they need sleeping bags and asked me about our "good" used bags that we have for sale.
So, anyway, I offered her this:
If anyone here wants to help out the kids, I would sell any of my used sleeping bags, normally prices from $19.95 down to $15.95 for just half price. And I can bring them down with me when I do the Canoecopia show so no shipping costs and they will be picked up at the show, for the school.
So, if anyone wants to make a sleeping bag donation, just give me a call. You can pay for the bag(s) and I'll bring them down along with a receipt for your donation so you can take it as a tax deduction.
All of the bags have stuff sacks and any of the ones I offer are in good shape and will work for May & August trips.
Hope this doesn't sound "commercialized".

If you have any camping equipment you want to donate for this school group, you can drop it off at my booth at Canoecopia in Madison.
The teacher from 123456789lesville will be coming by to pick it all up.

Wow!
I think I have everyone so far on the list except for when they donated actual items like the barrels, the harnesses for the barrels and the people who have indicated they are bringing gear to Canoecopia and dropping it off at my booth.
