Wow I feel like I'm in Storm Spotter class again! I would name all those clouds for you but unfortunately I can't spell worth spit Lets just say those pics are hard to come by. Thanks for sharing! ;D

Those are some dramatic pictures.
I've always been in awe of severe weather - not as much for fear of it's potential for hurting me as it is for the beauty....there isn't a painting that's as evocative for me as any one of these pictures. Truly deserving of the appelation 'awesome'.
Our family used to chase severe weather. Mom would hear a report on the radio and we'd load up into the car to chase over to the general area to get a look-see, up close and personal.

I am though disappointed to learn that they really aren't of Katrina. But instead of tornado's in the mid west. But even still they are interesting to look at. qp
