I noticed an article in the paper the other day. A nonprofit trust is intending to purchase the island that Sigrud Olson used to visit to relax, write, from his "Listening Point Writing Retreat" on Long Island.
The purchase is intended to keep the island primative, with out a big developer purchasing it.
Did any-one else see this?

I did see it.
I think Nature Conservancy or someone like that bought it with hopes the state or US government would buy it from them. They moved quickly to preserve it before someone bought the entire point and put up condosor other property. I for one am glad they did. If I had the hundreds of thousands it cost-I would have done the same thing.

Well, Bog's ...let it me put it to you simply. What you have instilled in your son is worth much more. With out such effort, these things we speak of could not be.
