Kelty Trail Dome 4. Review. I bought one at a very low price at Gander Mtn - I think it was $80 - a couple of years ago. I've used it on one extended trip in the Q last summer.
Weight - Very light - build quality is high as you'd expect with Kelty. Annodized aluminum poles, slipcorded together fit well. at 8 pounds, it's way less than 1/2 the weight of the LL Bean it replaced.
Waterproof - One serious rainstorm and we were dry.
Ventilation - Actually quite good
Was going to buy a Eureka, but this was too good a deal to pass up.

Some questions about the trail dome: 1. Does it have a vestibule? 2. If it doesn't does the rain get on the main part of the tent that isn't covered by the fly? 3. What is the longest rain you have seen while in it? Thanks!
