It's November 1, 2004 and tomorrow millions of people will cast their vote for the person they want to be President of the United States. On the way home from work tonight I was listening to a popular radio talk show host, asking callers to call in to say who they would be voting for and why.
In the time span of my ride home til the end of the program the tally was 4 - Bush, 3 - Kerry, and 1- Nader. Typical of the polls that seem to all say something different each channel you hear them on.
One particular caller stated that Bush hadn't done enough on the Christian issues that he made promises to do in the last campaign. The only topic he could give a specific instance on was the abortion topic. He stated that Bush insists on his Christian values, however "never used the Republican majority in the Congress to pass the bills and legislation needed to end abortion."
Okay first and foremost - the Terrorism issue took a front seat almost immediately into his term. Secondly, the caller stated that he would be voting for Kerry because of this. Kerry - the one that believes that abortion should be legal. What an idiot!
If anyone out there could possibly still be an undecided voter - think about this.
Do you have a sister, daughter, or granddaughter? What if that person became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion? Would you support that?
Do you have a father, mother, sister, brother, daughter or son? What if one of those people came to you and said that they are getting married? What if the person they are going to marry happens to be of the same sex? How would that make you feel?
The liberals answer to that is that they love their loved ones regardless. Of course you love them, but is everything people do ok just because you love them? Is it ok for your son or father to murder someone, just because you love them?
One last question - do yo consider yourself a Christian?
Answer - If your answer to the last question is yes, then I guarantee when you stand at the judgement seat of Christ - these are questions you will have to justify your answers to.
