Unless your keeping it a secret I was just wondering who on the qp board is planning on the event? I know of a few, anyone out there thinking about it but not sure yet. Hope you got a permit by now. qp

QP, You also know that I am going. I definitely appreciated the phone call the other day. Now you've got me quite interested in checking out Hoare Lake en route. I figure on skipping Antoine altogether so that I have more time to daytrip from Camel. They tell me that Hoare has some decent Lake Trout (which was why I was stopping on Antoine). Anyway, looks like I'll be getting in a little "bushwhacking" BEFORE heading over to Stumpy's Pond. I don't see many portages from Camel over to Hoare! If you have any insights there, let me know! QP, I'll have my walkie talkie along & plan to give you a shout from wherever I am on Tuesday night. We go into the Park from Stanton Bay on Friday the 10th. If we don't chat again beforehand, travel safely my fellow future Charter Members of the B.U.G.B.I.T. Club! Jimbo

It's no secret I still plan on attending. I'm pretty curious about what we are getting our selves into. Traveling solo most of the time seems insane enough to most I talk to, though I've grown comfortable with it. This trip seems insane to me as well, but yet it also appeals to me. It' sure to be an adventure that will live in my fond memories and heart forever. Geesh, by this time next week I'll be well down the yellow brick road hoping to find the Wizard of Oddity. If I only had a brain. k

BTW...although we had cloudy weather this past week, not much rain. Coming week also looks like possible rain until Thursday or Friday. Temps are warmer, 55-60 at night, and the bugs are starting to hatch out, looking for warm blooded campers!

Our plans are to go up the East side of the park and down the Wawiag. I’m going nuts we are all pack and I gota work another week!! I have been out polishing the canoe and fondling the paddles. Come on isn’t it time to go already!
