It has recently been raining on a regular basis and at times heavily, almost 3 inches worth in the past three days, here in canoe country. All the local streams are full to the brim. I think it is safe to assume the same holds for the watershed north of the border. Hopefully it will be ready to turn nice by mid-June. Next seven days are for more of the same wet weather.

Yow! 2-3 really nice days in a row up here...finally! However forcast is for rain again Thursday and for a few days. Weather man said the north country had 23 days in May, below our average for temps.

I'll be dissapointed it it doesn't rain on this trip. And there nothing better than sleeping in the cool temp. It just wouldn't be a Quetico Trip without the rain and cool temps. 12 days I'll be paddling in the Q. If my pack was packed I'd be ready. qp
