Exactly where have you seen those rock piles?
I've seen my one and only between Bell and Other Man.
Ya..I was Sir Lostalot at that moment and was glad to see the Rock Guide.
Please tell.

Once again.... Any body else seen any Stone Statues in the woods? Maybe we should not share as Sir Stumpy seems to like to take his aggressions out on Rocks.

Go ahead and share. I don't go out of my way to knock them over...but when I stumble upon those new ones that seem to be popping up more often, well.....................
Does this make me a leftist environmental whacko ?

So Stumpy...are you a lefty? I am ;D I am ! But, sadly, I'm no environmentalist. Perhaps mental from time to time. However, you already knew that. I truely thought it to be a treat to see a rock staute piled between Bell and Other Man, when I was in need of direction. After all I had left my "Legend" gps , fondly named "Stumpy" back at La Tourells's in my ol truck. k

Well k the list just goes on and on. I know of several areas in the Q that are marked this way. As to outside the Q I have seen them too. I would be guessing but, I'd say close to 50 of them just along HWY 11 from Ft Frances to Atikokan. Go figure! One major HWY in Canada that goes from Ocean to Ocean, and someones afraid "you'll" get lost. Best advise I say If your north of the Q. A blindfold, cause some of those things actually do point in the wrong direction, and be sure to bring the compass. If travelinig after dark you'll need your candle lantern too. qp
