Thanks - I thought that first one should have looked familiar! As I recall, portaging from Boulder to Adams last month, it was a little liftover some rocks, then a very short paddle (prob < 50 yds) in which I had to get out & pull over/out of some mud, then some portaging through a lot of grass, and another liftover over a muddy/beaver dammed thing. Looked a bit different.
I remember enjoying the nice paddle through Fee and Vee. Lots of moose tracks starting the portage from Hoe to Fee, and a big pile of something a bear left behind (full of crayfish remnants).
Sure was a cool area. We saw people on Hoe, but not on Fee or Vee or Ledge.
