We spotted this big bull moose near the inlet to the Oyster River. I didnt have a zoom lens & the wild rice kept us from getting any closer.

A campsite on Nina Moose Lake that we stopped at for lunch. It had a great granite bench with a back rest. I could spend more time at this site.[/color]

What you may have missed on this Nina Moose campsite was the bare granite mountain top going up behind the campsite.
We spend the night on this site last summer and I believe that it has been overlooked in favor of the two campsites directly across the lake.
This was a very pleasent surprise after a day on the water coming down from Ge-be-on-e-quet.

You are correct, I did miss that, we only stopped there long enough to each lunch & then got back on our way.
You have given me another reason to stop at that site the next time I pass through Nina-Moose.
