Thinking outside the box, but couldn't you make some kind of jig to attahed to a chainsaw to cut the board down. I was thinking you could make some spacers and then using a 12" wood clamp for the guide.
Maybe I'm out of line on this, but would think that two guys could make short work of ripping a plank.
The above recommendation is for ideas only and not to be used by nonprofessionals and children.
Remember chainsaws kill and maim.

Yes, I'm not sure how it would have to be set up, certainly it's not the normal way those mills are used.
OC,
Funny you should mention chainsaw mills, I just got an Alaskan mill, a guide that attaches to the bar so one can make semi controled rip cuts on logs to make lumber. I plan to try cutting a few boards from some oak I have. Just have a hard time cutting it for firewood.
But, while I think it could work for resawing, remember the kerf will be wide, maybe 1/4 in thick and I'm not sure PG's board is thick enough for this.
