Word of warning, I am not sure it will hold out water, even with a thorough over haul! It has been sitting neglected outside in the weather and sun for several years. It has lost all of its smooth gel coat. Moss and lichen are starting to grow on the hull on the outside. It has been upside down, so the inside is good. I think it is a Jensen Winona, one of those light weight yellow fiberglass or Kevlar (?) ones, with deep square ends, and aluminum thwarts, seats, etc. There is a straight horizontal break, like a rip, about 12 inches long, half way up one side near one of the ends. (I'm trying to remember this all from my mind's eye...can get better details if you want them.) I believe the rip means the hull material may want to rip other spots too, from old age weakness. We used to use this canoe for tripping until we took up solo kayaks which weighed even less and are more fun, and this one went abandonded. Perhaps someone out there with canoe building and repairing experience would be interested in salvaging this canoe.

Ouie,
I'd be interested. Been fixing canoes all my life.
Where's it located?

Send me an e-mail. When I was young we lived on Wake-em-up Bay in between the Indian Burial Grounds and Peterson's Landing. I think they have a campground at Peterson's Landing now. Not sure it still goes by that name.

PG high tailed it over here, lickety split and adopted the abandoned canoe. Good luck PG in giving it a second lease on life....IC
