Stop into my website and take a look at the newest way to secure paddles, fishing rods and painter lines to your canoe. See how Bungee Dealee Bobs can improve your canoeing experience.www.oldscoutoutdoorproducts.com/

Great Idea!
Been thinking on the same lines, experimenting with short buckle straps but what you have looks superior and lighter weight.

Old Scout I really like these thinds. I've found several other uses for them other than on my trips. I use them to hold tool in place in my truck tool box. My son has found they will rocket a rock or what ever is available into things he likely shouldn't be. I've even hung things in my Quetico Room with them to keep it looking the part. qp

Old Scout,
The 20 Dealee Bobs I got from you at Copia seem to have disapeared , They are the handiest little things around, I have given several away to trip partners, friends & family, now I only have a few left at my disposal for canoe trips
It looks like I will have to buy 20 more at Copia this year ;D I hope you are going.
Can you make me up some longer versions approx. twice the length? They would work great on rolled up Therma-rest

WoodsWalker, I would be happy make up some extra long BDBs for you. I do plan to be at Canoecopia this year, but if you can't wait just drop me an e-mail. I was thinking of some of the off season uses of BDBs: * Wrap around the grip of your paddles and hang them from a clothes hook in the closet. * Use them on those pesky electical cords out in the garage. * Wrap them around your shovel, rake and hoe handles to hang on a nail. * Get all those nasty computer, stereo or video cords shanked up and organized. They also make great gifts for the outdoorsman that has everything. www.oldscoutoutdoorproducts.com/

Huh, first time I saw these things was at VN's place recomended by WW. I don't know what I did with out them as they sure have sped up the portaging process by tips offered by Grey Jay and WW. Now I see this thread expands on there uses. Perhaps I'll purchase some more. And no, WW, I never borrowed any of yours..not intentionaly anyway.

I bought some BDB's from Old Scout last summer and haven't been dissappointed. A very handy item and Old Scout seemed to be a great guy---make sure he tells you his bear story----
