One good question deserves another Were the wave tall on the other side? I hope you left an offering before you crossed that brutal portage. qp

Yeah...I made an offering to the Great spirit...that he'd finish you off for me QP, , if I did not make it home! You suggested the route, I bit, and am glad I did, as for a solo trip in the Quetico, I believe it was a formidable trip, but I'll have to give you this. Intrepid was my spirit guide, giving this silly man a vote of confidence on a trip she had just done, a route, with experienced ease. Now I have a small bit of Quetico knowledge in my back pocket too, and I yearn for more. Thank you QP, Thank You IC. k

Glad you joined us 02Chief. In the picture above you find my Wenonah Prism. The Kevelar models sold for new last year around $1,800.00. I purchased mine as a Factory Blemished model built for outfitters with integrated skid plates for $1,200.00 from Spring Creek in Mount Iron, MN. You can find them at www.canoegear.com. If you would like to review the Wenonah Models available you will find them at www.wenonah.com. Who is it that makes canoes in Park Rapids? I'd be interested to know. k
