10 day base camping on LLC starting June 6th. Focused on fishing and good company in area of Fish Stakes Narrows, look for American flag and Champlain canoe with 2 guys. We will be eating lunch around noon, join us if you are coming by or there will be popcorn before dark and then more fishing.

Looking to enter Quetico at Three Mile Lake in late June '08 for a ten day trip. Will camp on Wolseley for a night or two, then proceed up Bearpelt Creek into Bearpelt, West Cub, & Omeme for a couple days. Probably will head east from there & check out Bentpine or maybe even Wildgoose, Eyelet, &/or Viger. We intend to exit via Beaverhouse on Day 10 but keep to the smaller, less travelled lakes. That could mean Red Pine, Boulder, Robin, or the No Names above the southern arm of Quetico. Then, again, we may fall in love with some spot en route & blow off 3/4 of the lakes mentioned. Hard to say. Walleye fishing & solitude seem to be our "drivers", though I'll be keen on the lake trout fishing on the front & back ends of this trip. I'll be bringing your special bait along, Bo. Wish you could be joining us... and I'll keep a spot open for you right up until we wave Quetico Dave "goodbye" as we shove off from Wisa Lake pointed towards Wolseley. Jimbo  |

The first trip is with "the guys". We'll be heading on the end of July and running the Frost River. A nother later, late August, I'm taking my nephews on their second trip ... Dad's coming too.  We'll be heading in on Sawbill. Up to Cherokee then east and down through the Temperances and onto Clam, Kelly Burnt and Smoke. Finally exiting Sawbill. |

This is the GUYS year,May 31st Basswood river entry,plan on going down Basswood river to Robinson lake.Basecamping for a week on Robinson with fishing daytrips to Crooked,Kett and Tuck.One day set aside for bushwacking to a no-name side lake off of Robinson.Coming out through Sarah,Isabella and one over night stay on North Bay.Then coming out at Prairie portage for a tow.
But as of right now we have to wait and see if my partner is going to make the trip or not.It's not looking good as he's having major back problems,he's already missed one trip back in 02 for the same problem,we'll know in another week or so.If he can't make it we plan on renting a solo Prism instead of a tandem,I'll let the other 2 guys use my S.R. Q-17 and I'll travel in the Prism.
