Wow thanks for the review! Just two more questions. In the rain storm was the tent pitched on hard packed ground or on soft ground (I hear this can make a difference with splash up)? Did you use the guild out ropes on the corners of the tent for the wind and how did they preform? Thanks for the help

Did you use the guild out ropes on the corners of the tent for the wind and how did they preform? Thanks for the help I had it on pretty thick grass at a public campground. I did not use the guy ropes that are on the corners of the tent, but I did have it staked down well at the corners and the fly tie-outs. When it started blowing I hoped I wasn't going to regret not tying them one , but it worked fine without them. I was probably taking a chance, and I'd put them on before I took it in the wilderness.
